Our Audience Strategy team within Agency Communications is relied upon to help drive and support strategic business initiatives, goals, and objectives for New York Life's field force. The digital writer/editor will report to the CVP, helping to execute tactical communications in support of our field audiences. This is an opportunity to communicate with impact while innovating with new and old media, work independently on projects that support and promote New York Life culture and larger strategic themes, as well as individual profiles of outstanding agents and managers. The primary audience for this position is New York Life's 12,000 agents and its 800+ field managers.

Responsibilities
As a content generalist, provide editorial/content support to our internal business partners that aligns our field force or 12,000+ agents and 800+ managers with the company's strategy
Assist in execution of tactical communications in support of our field audiences

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in English, History, Journalism, Marketing, or similar preferred
3-5 years of relevant experience
Excellent writing and editing skills
Ability to think strategically, an interest in storytelling, a willingness to learn new skills, ability to link creativity to strategy to produce engaging content across a variety of platforms, including print, digital, video, slideshows and podcasts
Excellent at proofreading, copywriting, editing materials to ensure that copy is clean and meets company standards
Ability to juggle many fact-checking, writing, editing assignments and photo research

Salary range:$72,500-$107,500
Overtime eligible:Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes
