What You'll Bring: BS in computer science/engineering (or equivalent), 0-2 years of progressive work experience with data analysis and/or programming batch fulfillment systems Experience (2 years minimum) with Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL development Working knowledge of software development lifecycle principles and quality assurance Proficient data analysis using quantitative reasoning, an intuitive capacity for problem solving and ability to act decisively Working knowledge of relational database; ability to manipulate/transform data Working knowledge of ETL tools such as Microsoft SSIS/Pentaho/Airflow/Informatica Experience in the Credit Card/Banking industry is a plus Experience with Credit card data processors TSYS/FDR/FIS is a plus Impact You'll Make: Working on high impact projects while engaging with clients (Internal & External) Develop and execute design concepts, code standards and test plans to validate batch fulfillment system setup and output. Map client data to normalized, and analytical data structures/models, and create data loading algorithms to transform and load the data structures using SQL, Informatica, or equivalent technologies Analyze data and test results to ensure integrity is maintained throughout program lifecycle and ensure customer business needs are satisfied. Perform data modeling, and database design for data warehousing and data marts using relational database technologies (MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 or equivalent) Create automated/scheduled ETLs using ETL tools such as SSIS/Airflow/Pentaho/Informatica Loading data from source environment into staging environment and data migration from staging to target Query tuning of store procedures/scripts for enhancing the output/application performance Conversion of business requirements into technical requirements Create detailed design documents (DLD) from high level design (HLD) documents Support day to day production support and provide timely resolution for any production Issues Communicate the status of project and planning activity timelines with team members and team lead Implement, deploy, and manage enterprise level data solutions while adhering to best practice Benefits: TransUnion provides flexible benefits including flexible time off for exempt associates, paid time off for non-exempt associates, tuition reimbursement, additional (following any short-term disability) 10 weeks of parental leave with gradual return, adoption assistance, fertility coverage, spousal and domestic partner benefits, charity gift matching, employee stock purchase plan, retirement contributions with employer match, organizational growth potential through our online learning platform with guided career tracks, and access to TransUnion's Employee Resource Groups. This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s).
