Description

Immediate opening for a help desk/ desktop support analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate, analyze, and resolve hardware and software problems on computer systems

• Perform complex hardware repairs and maintenance on a variety of PC-based computers and peripherals

• Provide advanced technical assistance and support, troubleshooting and resolving system hardware, software, and communication failures and conflicts

• Evaluate existing computer systems hardware, perform system upgrades, and customize and test computer systems based on customer needs

• Install, integrate, and configure new computer systems and hardware for users

• Research, analyze, and recommend appropriate computer hardware for customized computer configurations

• Review, prioritize, and process problem reports; document the progress of projects

• Maintain high-level quality of customer service standards in dealing with and responding to questions

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in corporate IT support

• Demonstrated experience in a technical support role (phone support, in-person and desktop imaging)

• Proficiency in Desktop Support and other related software

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently

• Strong customer service skills and commitment to providing exceptional service

• Solid understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience

• Willingness to stay updated on the latest technology and continue learning new skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
