Senior Director elinzanetant Pharmaceutical Direct to Consumer (DTC) Marketing

Reporting into the Vice President and elinzanetant Brand Lead,theSenior Director, elinzanetant Pharmaceutical Direct to Consumer Marketing, will lead a significant book of work that will be one of the key growth drivers for the launch of elinzanetant and expanding Bayer’s leadership in Women’s Healthcare. This includes setting the strategic direction for consumermarketingfor the launch and lifecycle development of the brand. As a key member of the elinzanetant brand team, the Consumer Marketing Senior Director will lead a team of marketers and functions to ensure the successful execution of branded launch and unbranded consumer missions in alignment with brand objectives.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Director elinzanetant Pharmaceutical Direct to Consumer Marketing, are to:

  • Drive development and implementation of consumer strategy and activities for elinzanetant;

  • Lead branded missions designed to differentiate elinzanetant in a competitive marketplace;

  • Collaborate across functions to create unbranded missions designed to demonstrate Bayer’s commitment to Women’s Healthcare and menopause;

  • Development of consumer campaigns andmessaging;

  • Management of market research and insightdevelopment;

  • Lead the development of operational brand plans across elinzanetant and modify plan as needed to ensure alignment of consumer marketing with brand strategy;

  • Manage consumer engagement and digital strategy including content development and program deployment across personal, social and non-personal channels;

  • Manage relevant parts of P&L, including budget allocation and budgetmonitoring;

  • Collaborate with Market Access, Advocacy, Communications/PR and Patient Support Services to assure alignment with consumer marketing missions;

  • Develop and execute direct to consumer activation plans for launch;

  • Drive integration of consumer marketing with digital marketing organization, including implementation of Dynamic Shared Ownership.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA;

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience, including prior experience in strategic marketing for both launch and US in lineproducts;

  • Sound understanding of brand management principles, tactics and expertise in marketing strategies; especially those dealing with consumer audiences;

  • Expertise in advertising, promotion, and experience withpoliciesand practices within the US industry needed to best support successful product launch planning;

  • Strong multi tasking and organization skills to manage and prioritize multiple unrelated projects at once;

  • Highly creative, self directed, able to define and pursue goals and functions effectively on international and interdepartmental teams;

  • Experience in leading and managing teams with or without authority including acting asmentor;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills appropriateforbuilding relationships and influencing both peers and seniormanagement;

  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and make decisions in ambiguous situations;

  • High emotional intelligence level, dealing with ongoing strategic challenges and diverse cross functional teams;

  • Ability to lead and influence key stakeholders on the overall marketing strategy and execution;

  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degreepreferred;

  • 10+ years of industry experience;

  • Women’s Healthcare, launch, and DTC marketing highlypreferred.
