What you will do as a Welder: Practice and promote a safe work environment throughout the entire facility Read and interpret customer blueprint specifications to understand product requirements Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements Weld components efficiently and safely using various welding equipment Perform MIG, TIG, and other types of welds based on project needs Conduct all processes and procedures in accordance with department key measures Ensure all quality practices are being followed accurately and efficiently Read and analyze customer blueprint specifications to understand product requirements Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment in order to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency De-bur and grind components as needed to achieve precise surface texture
