Need 30 full time, temporary, seasonal Farm Laborer to work in Wheaton, MN. From: 03/01/2024 to 12/15/2024 Work: Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day; 48 hrs./week Additional hours of work, i.e., on Sabbath, or holidays may be offered but not required. Overtime rate will be paid at the rate of time and a half. JOB DUTIES: Spraying fertilizer and pesticide solutions on crops to protect the crops against insects, fungus, and weed growth using sprayer. Operate the production of grain, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Operation of tractors with plows, discs, sprayers, and combine harvesting equipment. Drive trucks and trailers requiring a Class D license, to haul equipment and crops after harvest. May occasionally apply lubricant to equipment in the event it is necessary to prevent damage, though not performing any major repairs to equipment. Employees may assist with livestock operations on the farm. Employees may participate in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of farm buildings and grounds. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 months experience, able to lift 60 lbs.; able to perform work in extreme temperatures, and extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, frequent stooping, bending over, and repetitive movements; All workers that have a valid driver's license must agree to and comply with the employer's fleet policy agreement prior to driving any company vehicles. Drug test after hire at employer's expense. No high school diploma/GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
