Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in the bustling locale of Wexford, Pennsylvania. This role will be situated within an industry that requires a keen understanding of individual tax returns and proficiency in Intuit ProSeries.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of accurate tax returns in compliance with laws and regulations

• Utilizing Intuit ProSeries software to streamline tax preparation processes

• Handling confidential information with professionalism and integrity

• Providing expert tax advice to individuals to help them better understand their returns

• Ensuring all paperwork is filed correctly and in a timely manner

• Addressing customer inquiries related to their individual tax returns

• Monitoring client accounts and updates as per tax law changes

• Reviewing financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in preparing individual tax returns is essential.

• Proficiency in using Intuit ProSeries for tax preparation tasks is required.

• Strong ability to prepare accurate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify possible issues or discrepancies in financial data.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client files and meet strict deadlines.

• Good interpersonal skills to explain tax-related concepts to clients in an understandable manner.

• Sound knowledge of current tax laws and regulations.

• A relevant certification or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience with other tax software and systems would be a significant advantage.

• Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
