Job Description * Reporting to the Director of Business Operations for the Medical Group, the Senior Business Operations Analyst is responsible for managing and performing a variety initiative to support the operational needs of Hartford Health Medical Group. The work is comprised into various workflows including but not limited to: strategic work, analysis of data & trends, project management, and automation & efficiencies. The Senior Business Operations Analyst interprets all pertinent clinical and operational data, summarizes issues and examines the market forces to present comprehensive analyses. Comprehensive analyses will include collation and evaluation of data from a variety of sources, help identify assumptions, trends and conclusions relative to available data, and identifying alternative options and recommendations, prepare financial and quality impact analysis, and prepare final reports. The analyst will serve as a subject matter expert on different data streams to various HHC & HHCMG operational initiatives and will be required translate business problems into solutions. Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care, Economics, Finance, Statistics or related field, or similar field or equivalent work experience. Masters in Healthcare Administration or Masters in Business Administration or equivalent preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare or business experience required. 5 years of healthcare or business experience preferred. 3 years of health care informatics or decision support experience preferred.
