Job Description * Responsible for managing and facilitating various department activities with a strong focus on oversight of regulatory matters, e.g., DPH, and CMS. Supports Hartford HealthCare Medical Group colleagues in performance improvement activities. Knowledge of various outpatient safety programs. * Coordinate and direct activities to ensure the medical group is in line with regulatory compliance and accreditation standards. Act as a key resource for regulatory matters, assist with policy implementation, and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal standards. * Lead and implement performance improvement initiatives to meet key metrics, including balanced scorecard objectives. Identify and manage process improvement opportunities to enhance patient care quality and safety. * Oversee the operational activities of the Quality & Safety department, including budget management, staff performance, and recruitment. Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, staff development, and continuous process improvement. Education: Bachelors of Science Degree required Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Management or related discipline preferred. RN with CT License or relevant healthcare professional license as applicable required Experience: Minimum of five years of clinical experience required Quality Improvement experience required. Five or more years of management experience preferred Lean Training preferred. We take great care of careers.
