IT Team Lead, Administrative and Vendor Services (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid role. The first three months are fulltime in the office.

Our Team

Responsible for providing supervision and direction of the team maintaining the managed service delivery contracts. This position is primarily responsible for the governance, metrics and deliverables associated with the entire portfolio of Supplier Agreements. This position is also responsible for monitoring and supporting the Supplier’s performance of the services associated within the scope of the Agreement, this includes the collection and validation of all supplier metrics, service level agreements, key measures, financial measures and deliverables and obligations.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensures the effective implementation of policies, processes, and practices of the IT Administration & Vendor Services.
  • Works with stakeholders and suppliers to develop and maintain contract related processes for departmental deliverables including budget variance, metrics, and regulatory reporting.
  • Assists IT Managers and Project Managers in understanding supplier contract deliverables and supplier monthly closing processes for both O&M and Capital and in preparation of monthly unvouchered liabilities, journal entries, monthly and year end projections.
  • Oversees preparation monthly reporting of supplier contracts including expense variance, capital variance and metrics.
  • Working with IT Leadership, oversees annual O&M and capital budget preparation for supplier contracts.
  • Monitors and evaluates departmental and project budget forecasts to assure desired results are achieved.
  • Monitors Supplier and Eversource compliance with the obligations, deliverables, and commitments of the Agreements.
  • Ensures that Supplier processes are capable of being audited.
  • Oversees Benchmarking activities.
  • Tracks and reports out on Performance Credits and assists in the creation of action plans resulting from critical service performance failures.
  • Evaluates and approves Innovation gain sharing mechanisms and assures their alignment with the agreed-upon principles of Innovation.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Technical Knowledge/Skill:

  • Understanding of contract services as well as financial and accounting principles associated with contract management and processes.
  • Knowledge of contract and RFP processes and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
  • Ability to anticipate, define and direct solutions to supplier and contract issues
  • Ability to influence others and negotiate

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to develop and make presentations before various audiences

  • Strong business acumen

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience
  • Master’s Degree or MBA a plus

Experience :

  • Minimum of 8 – 10 years business experience, including five or more years managing contracts.

  • None

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
  • Work is performed primarily in an office environment which requires standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, writing, and typing. Work involves using a computer and telephone as well as personal communication.
  • Job can require some traveling to local, regional regulatory proceedings and professional activities.

This role works in an environment that often requires the performance of multiple simultaneous activities, where deadlines need to be met and work is performed under pressure while involving significant business commitments and results.

Compensation and Benefits

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position starts at $126,450.00 to $140,500.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.
