Department of Conservation & Natural Resources Maintenance Repairman 2 (Seasonal) - Sproul Forest District in Westport, Pennsylvania

THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position provides assistance with maintenance and construction of buildings and deer fences, and provides work support for regeneration projects.\

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Seasonal Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Wednesday, with 30-minute lunch; 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Thursday with 30-minute lunch and Friday OFF.
  • Salary:* *In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS\ Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or
  • Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Necessary Special Requirement:

  • This position requires possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver\'s license.
