The opportunity

Based in North America reporting to the Manager, Contracts, this position will be primarily responsible for the review, negotiation, administration, and management of complex contracts. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with legal, financial, and organizational standards. The analyst also provides strategic recommendations to stakeholders to mitigate risks and optimize contract performance. This position will specifically carry out the Contract Reviews, Redlines, File Management and negotiating deals and bids for the Anda Distribution Sales Teams.

How you’ll spend your day

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Contract Review and Negotiation:

o Draft, review, negotiate (via redlines), and finalize contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

o Manage complex contracts including non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, Purchasing contracts, and customer rebate agreements.

o Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract terms and conditions.

• Contract Management:

o Maintain accurate contract records and documentation within contract management systems.

o Ensure contract milestones, deliverables, and obligations are tracked and met by all parties.

o Review terms and conditions and recommend innovative ways to deal with contract requirements

o Lead the contract renewal, amendment, and termination process as needed.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

o Work closely with sales, legal, finance, procurement, and other relevant teams to ensure contracts align with organizational goals and strategies.

o Provide guidance and interpretation of contractual terms to internal teams.

• Compliance and Risk Management:

o Work closely with legal to ensure all contracts comply with local, state, and federal laws as well as corporate policies.

o Ensure contracts comply with policies, procedures, and guidelines to minimize risks.

o Conduct regular contract audits and reviews to ensure compliance.

• Strategic Recommendations:

o Analyze contract performance, highlighting potential risks and opportunities for cost savings or improved contract terms.

o Provide advice and support to management regarding contract disputes or issues.

• Training and Mentorship:

o Train and mentor other team members on best practices in contract management.

o Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments related to contracts.

o Expand knowledge and experience by regular engagement with key stakeholders to understand business processes, policies, strategies and evolving business trends.

Your experience and qualifications

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Education Preferred MBA Preferred

Experience Required: 5+ years of experience in Contracts analysis, negotiation or management experience

Experience Preferred: • Distribution and/or Supply Chain experience

• Secondary pharmaceuticals distribution experience

Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed: • Proficiency in MS Office products, Tableau and DocuSign

Functional Knowledge: • Good problem solving and issue resolution capabilities, strong program management capabilities and business case analysis skills are also required

• Fact based, analytical thinker with demonstrated ability to thrive in data-driven, process-oriented environment

• Exceptional negotiation, collaboration and influencing skills

• Experience with managing a large multi-function, multi-level (matrixes) departments is required

• Ability to use detailed financial analyses and high-level pattern recognition to drive

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (required)

• Excellent presentation skills

• Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel (ability to perform v-lookups, pivot tables and reporting charts), Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
