The opportunity

Provide HR support to assigned business units within Anda including our Distribution Centers (DCs) in Weston, FL and Olive Branch, MS and Supply Chain. We are looking for an experienced HR professional who can effectively support recruitment, employee relations, exits and employee engagement initiatives within a matrix organization.

How you’ll spend your day

Following is a list of some but not all responsibilities and specific tasks that will be assigned to the person in this role:

• Establishes partnerships across the HR to include Centers of Expertise and HR Operations to deliver value added service to management and employees.

• Works closely with management and employees to improve onboarding, engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness in support of increased business performance.

• Oversees recruitment activities for the assigned Business Units, to include the DCs and Supply Chain while taking proactive steps to ensure there is a robust talent pool. Collaborates with Talent Acquisition colleagues accordingly.

• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations as appropriate. In partnership with leaders, develops Performance Improvement Plans for employees with substandard performance.

• May serve as a project leader for HR and/or business-driven initiatives (i.e. organizational structure changes, cultural change, employee rewards, organizational effectiveness).

• Provides employees and management with coaching and counseling, ensuring objectivity and professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues.

Your experience and qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of prior Human Resources Manager experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment with demonstrated increasing responsibilities preferred

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college.

• Prior experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is a plus.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Experience with HR information systems is preferred. SAP Success Factors preferred.

• Proven Excel skills in managing databases, performing lookups, setting up pivot tables, and designing charts will be needed.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and inter-cultural competence

• Strong Interpersonal and people skills, in particular the ability to build relationships and influence others

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook); advanced Excel skills and strong statistical and strong analytical skills preferred

• Demonstrated experience in a matrix, high performance work environment and team- oriented culture

• Strong track record of results achieved through collaboration, influence skills, and organizational and change management skills

• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

• Prioritization and multi-tasking a plus

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Problem Solving:

• Proactively works on problems of a simple to moderate scope

• Seeks out all resources when selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results

• Acts independently and proactively to recommend and administer methods and procedures for problem resolution

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Once a month business travel to Anda DC site in Olive Branch, MS.
