Overview
Sev1Tech is seeking a Systems Administrator with a classified team with experience in any of the following topics: *Linux/Windows Server Administration, (Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy, Office, VMware, SCCM) Change Management. RHEL 7+, Ubuntu 20.04+ and their components (kernel, system, libraries, job scheduling, and package management) In this role, the Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for the following: Work closely with a small team of diverse skill sets Responsible for maintaining the health and wellbeing of the current infrastructure Strong Tier 1-2 administrative and debugging experience in RHEL 7+ and Various Windows environments Comfortable working in a multi-vendor network with a large array of COTS applications Understanding of NIST 800-171 & NIST 800-53 compliance frameworks, and ability to work with diverse teams to implement controls Must be security conscious Self-starters and have the aptitude to work independently in a fast passed continuously evolving environment Respond to customer and teammate service desk tickets and remediate application/infrastructure issues including VMWare, Storage Clusters, RHEL 7+, Windows Server 2012 + Create and maintain system accounts using Windows Active Directory Develop automated tasks to streamline manual activities utilizing Ansible, AWX, or Ansible Automation Platform. Ensure the systems meet security requirements based on NIST 800-171 controls Monitor SIEM, and ITSM application for system incidents and service request Participate in internal / external security audits/inspections, create and maintain Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) as required Assist team with continuous monitoring, implementation and troubleshooting of required patch compliance for all clients Responsibilities may require periodic evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported following an "On-Call" schedul Perform other duties as required. Salary - 130,000 DOE
Responsibilities
Bachelor's Degree Required (4 yrs of exp can be substituted for a degree) Experience administering Windows Server 2012/2016 and Workstation 7/10/embedded environments Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining data center and office equipment Basic network experience Experience maintaining storage arrays - EMC Isilon preferred Proficient use and understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories Proficient knowledge of other related disciplines including Virtualization, Compliance Proficient with requirements management & system modeling tools Recognizes various architectural patterns Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Proficient written and verbal communications skills Able to articulate concepts and ideas Creative thinker Ability to multi-task Proficient ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and effectively handle complex assignments Shows initiative on assignments, exercises independent judgment and professionally executes projects with little direction Proficient ability in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions Ability to work as a system administrator in a SCIF Environment Top Secret/SCI required (CI Poly clearance preferred within the past year)
