Trimble Inc. Regional Sales Manager- Lifting Division in Westminster, Colorado

Title: Regional Sales Manager Division: Lifting Division Location: Remote, Ideally Western part of U.S.

What You Will Do: The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for achieving all direct and indirect sales targets for the Trimble Lifting Division in their territory. This role combines knowledge of crane indication technology with sales skills to achieve growth across the lifting industry. The product portfolio includes load indications for all types of cranes . The RSM will provide sales and application support for end users.

  • Increase market share through a combination of direct sales and evaluating and developing distributor sales personnel through observation, feedback and coaching as required to achieve revenue targets and market coverage.
  • Contact new and existing customers in the Crane industry and conduct needs analysis and pre-qualification assessments for alignment of Trimble products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Coordinate and/or provide sales and technical training primarily for distributor sales personnel.
  • Create monthly and Quarterly Territory Sales forecasts and Sales Funnel Analysis.
  • Quote and negotiate prices, credit terms, service agreements and other specifications as required.
  • Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing.
  • Provide voice of customer to Trimble product teams.

What Skills & Experience You Will Bring:

5+ years of Solutions and/or Technology Sales experience. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds of demo equipment. Strategic consultative sales and closing skills. Knowledge of Construction Equipment, specifically Crane's. Ability to travel 25%
