A Typical Day

The Vice President, Corporate Insurance is responsible for supporting the activities required for an effective Corporate Insurance Program.

The Vice President, Corporate Insurance will:

  • Provide effective support of the Corporate Insurance Program and effective management of assigned sub-tasks across:○ Risk Identification / Assessment;○ Broker Strategy;○ Policy Coverage Limits / Exclusions / Premiums;○ Annual Program Administration Calendar and Milestones;○ Program Budget & Allocation;○ Program and Specialized Coverage Expense Management;○ Coverage Research, Placements and Renewals;○ Coverage Document Inventory (Binders, Policies, Evidence, Invoices)○ Annual Professional Liability Carrier Presentation;○ Quarterly Compliance Reporting;○ Annual and Ad Hoc Examinations and Due Diligence;○ Internal Reporting (Management Risk Committee and Board(s));○ Claims Administration;○ Enterprise Counterparty Support;○ Maintenance of associated Policies and Procedures (P&Ps);○ Insurance Broker Request for Proposal (RFP) process, as required and scheduled

  • Manage Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests and vendor COI requirements

  • Manage Quarterly Coverage Requirements Analysis

  • Manage Statement of Value (SOV) activities required for policy renewal activities

  • Manage invoices, payments and tracking

  • Perform other assigned duties as required

  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, required. Degree in risk management, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or related field, preferred

  • Post-graduate degree in business administration, preferred

  • 2+ years of relevant experience with corporate insurance programs with an corporate insurance carrier or corporate insurance broker, or 5+ years of relevant experience as a corporate insurance customer, required

  • Insurance experience in financial services or mortgage banking, strongly preferred

  • 10+ years of combined experience in project management, strategic planning, management consulting, and/or corporate insurance management, strongly preferred

  • Soft Skills: strong written and verbal communication, organized and structured, accountability, professionalism, consistent attention to detail, collaborative, business acumen, well-developed emotional intelligence, curious, comfortable with ambiguity, quick learner, analytical, efficiency focus, process and continuous improvement oriented, and strong presentation development skills

  • Broad familiarity with mortgage banking, preferred

  • Formal project management experience, strongly preferred

  • Extensive experience and strong skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite products (Docs, Sheets, Slides), required.

    Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

  • Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role

  • Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role

  • Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

    Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.

Salary

$95,000 - $155,000
