What you'll do
The primary role of the Junior Key Account Manager, eCommerce is to support the Amazon account team in driving long-term profitable growth, as well as collaborating with brick-and-mortar retail teams to develop eCommerce strategies. The candidate will serve as a knowledgeable representative of the business both internally and externally, while partnering with customers to ensure Henkel’s brands are positioned for growth. Building relationships and the ability to execute quickly with strong decision-making skills are the Junior Key Account Manager’s keys to success. This position offers great exposure to a global manufacturer and world-class retailers, while providing growth opportunity.
Support the Amazon account team to achieve sales, profit, and budget goals annually. Monitor and report progress regularly.
Collaborate with internal brick-and-mortar account teams to develop and execute eCommerce strategies that align with overall company goals.
Develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts, including merchandising, supply chain, replenishment, and marketing.
Monitor competitive placement in the market and provide marketing updates and recommendations to ensure Henkel brands are succeeding at retail.
Utilize data and insights to identify and track KPI’s and drive decision-making around content, portfolio, and review management.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop accurate sales forecasts.
Oversee management of financial metrics that directly impact the profitability of the business, such as accruals, deductions, fines, etc.
Expectation to learn and develop extensive knowledge of the customer, product categories, competition, and market.
Actively participate in the preparation and execution of key customer meetings.
Assist in managing external partnerships including digital/media agencies.
Collaborate with the Global eCommerce Team to align local priorities with global strategy.
Hybrid work environment with approximately 3 days in office and 2 days of remote work.
Available to travel for customer meetings, training, and market visits. (Typically, less than 10%).
What makes you a good fit
Bachelor’s degree required; focus on business preferred
Experience in Sales, Marketing, eCommerce; CPG industry preferred
Preferred experience in managing B2B eCommerce platforms and overseeing complex product catalogs.
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
General business management knowledge including negotiation tactics, decision making capability and financial acumen.
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to learn and grow
The salary for this role is $78,000.00 - $88,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
