ManpowerGroup Kafka Administrator / Middleware Engineer in Westfield Center, Ohio

As a Kafka Administrator, you will be part of the IT department supporting various integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Kafka Administrator

Location: Westfield Center, OH (Hybrid - In Office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Candidates: US Citizens or GC Holders

Pay Range: $85,605 - $95,000 upon conversion; Contract bill rate is $70-80/hr.

What's the Job?

  • Deliver, optimize, and scale middleware assets, services, and APIs.

  • Collaborate with various IT teams to ensure secure communication between IT systems and application components.

  • Support and troubleshoot middleware infrastructures, including XML and web services.

  • Plan, test, monitor, and optimize the performance of integration environments.

  • Administer Apache Kafka topics and connectors effectively.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience in Administration of Apache Kafka topics and connectors.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Software Containerization and Kubernetes.

  • Understanding of build and deployment processes, ideally with tools such as IBM UCD and Azure VSTS.

  • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
