Vertiv Corporation Director of Oracle ERP Applications - Americas in Westerville, Ohio
*Job Duties: * Responsibility for Oracle ERP systems. Manage Oracle Solution Analysts (OSA) who are responsible for achieving the business' processes design within the Oracle ERP systems and maintaining and supporting the Oracle environments. Analyze and coordinate the implementation of the new and modified requirements for the business units. Participate in setting OSA's goals, objectives and deliverables for the OSA team. Manage technical business application staffs and drive alignment with objectives through leadership. Serve as the "point person" for strategic projects in which the group is involved. Serve as escalation point for support and prioritization concerns. Oversee the development of an in-depth understanding, documentation and configuration of the business process flows within Oracle. Evaluate IT business requirements for fit and support of Oracle standard functionality, extensions, customizations, and possible third party solutions. Develop presentation and analysis applications in support of business initiatives. Interpret needs and engagements of business groups to define purpose, scope, limitations, and impact of requested initiatives. Analyze information documented in standards and process for accuracy and integrity. Drive results with methodology for Project Management including IT Project Life Cycle. Provide Project Management for key Oracle initiatives and adhere to best IT practices. Coordinate activities within the Oracle shared environment with Europe and CALA to ensure stable system performance across all geographies. Mentor staff on IT engagements and business interfacing. Manage budget requirements for the OSA team. Engage external resources (IT consultants) and provide understanding of the Oracle rollout plan, organizational structure and processes, as well as the business unit structures. Manage project progression and status reporting through appropriate and timely action on project tasks and project portfolio updates. Create awareness of activities and progress through regular status reports to management. Administer compensation, ensure timely and accurate compliance with training requirements (ethics, conflict of interest, etc.), and conduct performance appraisals.
#LI-DNI #FB-DNI #IN-DNI #TW-DNI #GD-DNI Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent based in computer science, computer engineering, electronic engineer, information systems or related field, plus 7 years of experience as a consultant or computer engineer (or comparable title in IT) working with Oracle applications, and demonstrated experience in: Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) Financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash management and Project Accounting; Supply Chain and Planning modules including Purchasing, Planning and ASCP; Oracle Distribution modules including Order Management and Procurement; Mapping business requirements to Oracle EBS; Manufacturing domain; Strong business process knowledge in Manufacturing domain in Oracle applications including Inventory Costing; Understanding the business process and mapping the business requirements to a To-Be Solution; Mentoring team members and providing guidance and validating solutions across various tracks including Financials, Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing and Distribution modules.
