BMW Shared Services, LLC Collection Specialist - Tier 1 in Westerville, Ohio

As an Collections Specialist - Tier 1, you are responsible for handling inbound collection calls on accounts for all BMW Group portfolios that are between 1 -74 days past due. You use your negotiation skills to find mutually agreeable resolutions and use deductive reasoning to lower the company's exposure to loss. As primary functions of this role, you document all customer interactions and handle all calls utilizing the Company's service level standards and in accordance with Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and state regulations. You are responsible for processing payments and working to bring accounts current with solid payment arrangements. Additionally, you follow up with customers as needed and prepare and send documentation within Corporate Guidelines. This position may require you to work evenings and Saturday hours as needed. The pay range for this role is $41,600.00 - $44,084.00 The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements. Specifics: Position reports to Rebecca Kalista, Team Manager, Collections. It is Columbus, OH based and is in salary band VII_B.
