Landscape Laborer - 2 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 04/01/2025-12/20/2025
Employer: Home Maintenance Lawn Care, Inc. 145 Harvard Street, Westbury, NY 11590.
Duties: Fall cleanups (removal of leaves), mowing of lawns, trimming of shrubs, weeding, mulching, spreading of topsoil, tree & shrub planting. Irrigation work includes installing irrigation lines using shovels and picks and repairing broken sprinkler heads. Spring cleanups (removal of leaves, sticks using blowers and rakes and thatching). Operation of ride on mowers, weedwhackers, shrub trimmers, and blowers.
Employer to provide transportation to and from worksites in Nassau and Suffolk counties from designated location: 145 Harvard St, Westbury, NY 11590.
No education or experience required.
Work Hours: Days vary Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, 40 hours/week at $21.87/hour. OT possible (up to 10 OT hours when available) at $32.81/hour.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59.00/day with receipts.
