We develop highly scalable and robust software services and automated data infrastructure to revolutionize the automation of fulfillment center operations. We design, develop and deploy big data infrastructure for Amazon Robotics based on Amazon Web Services and Persistence Storage technologies. We are building a big data ecosystem that will be transformational for the business - leveraging real-time and historical data - to allow a diverse customer base to solve complex problems, pursue a variety of thought experiments, innovate, and optimize operations, while gaining knowledge and insight to advance our engineering offerings across the board.

This is a hands-on position where you will be involved in everything from design to delivery. You will be responsible for driving the technical direction of a complex software system. You will be working with a cross-functional team to prototype, design, and develop software solutions that span local, service oriented and cloud-based systems.

The ideal candidate has a demonstrable track record delivering new and foundational products and features. Creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance software products requires technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of computer science and software engineering, and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Westborough, MA, USA

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

  • AI/ML experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
