Randstad is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for the West Warwick Area. The candidate should be experienced with in-coming, in-process, and final inspections. The candidate should be versed with using various measuring devices such as: calipers, verniers, and micrometers, The candidate must have the ability and experience with recording and documentation of inspection results which include: Inspection plans, first piece inspection, retained samples, and Non-conforming procedures. Duration: April 22 - June 28 (this has potential to become a temporary to permanent position!) Responsibilities

• Assures that incoming materials both purchased items and raw materials, meet specifications and requirements.

• Samples first-piece and in-process items

• Measures with precision instruments

• Prepares Certificates of Compliance

• Maintains product and supplier history

• Processes returned goods and materials

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• First Yield Pass

• Sampling

• Quality Assurance
