Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and programming fire alarm systems. What You'll Do * Convergint's greatest strength is our people! Every colleague is encouraged to participate in our Recruit Awesome People program, helping us grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture and referring top talent to the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring managers. * Act as "our customer's best service provider" at all times thereby ensuring Convergint is the customer's first choice for service. * Assist in the testing, programming and commissioning of fire alarm and life safety systems. * Assist in the servicing of fire alarm and life safety systems. * Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programing of Fire Alarm Systems, schematics and operational/product manuals. * Execute all work in accordance with local and national codes, general best practices as well as company health and safety policies and procedures. Act as our customers best service provider at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the first choice for service. Communicate and work with the other team members consistently to improve overall operations of the Convergint Technology Center, and company. Keep up to date and informed on all company policies. Present a professional image of Convergint Technologies at all times in appearance and behavior.
