We are seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our client's team in West Terre Haute, IN - 47885.

Available Shifts

Part-Time

• Saturday-Sunday: 8am-12pm

Full-Time

• Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm

Pay

$16-$18 per hour (depending on experience)

Requirements

• At least 1 year of patient care experience.

• Active Driver’s License.

• Auto insurance.

• Must be able to clear a background check (background check scans entire record for lifetime).

• TB vaccination or the ability to be vaccinated.

Job Description

• Patient Care Assistants (PCA) will be primarily working with geriatric patients.

• PCA may need to travel with their patient to run errands (prescriptions, doctor’s appointments, etc.) travel is limited to a 10-mile radius from home.

• Mileage and gas are reimbursed .50 cents per mile.

• PCAs will be primarily out in the field, very rarely going to the office.

• Ensure clients receive their medication on time.

• Support clients who can’t move on their own.

• Help clients dress, bathe, eat, etc.

• Assist clients with physical therapy exercises.

• Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions.

• Help customers with their shopping.

• Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.

• Provide emotional support.

• Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events.

• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
