About the role

As a CBRE Associate Project Manager, Move Add Change you will plan and lead Move/Add/Change (MAC) projects in the office and lab settings for a dedicated client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.

This is an onsite role, the selected candidate will be expected to be onsite in West Point, Pennsylvania on a full-time basis.

What you’ll do

Support Project Manager, MAC for coordination of relocation activity – Coordination required between Project Team, Facilities, I.T., and client.

Assist and Lead 3rd party project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team). Responsible for tracking performance and motivating team members.

  • Knowledge of lab and lab equipment a plus.

Assist with management of all facets of related project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual real estate projects including planning, vendor management, occupancy, and closeout.

Assist with managing MAC work order requests.

May include larger-scale MAC work, including coordination with multiple trades.

Interface with Client End-Users/Project Requestors

MAC Project Delivery

  • May define the scope of work; engage the requestor for any additional details that may be needed.

  • Source vendors for RFPs, Quotes, POs, and invoice reviews, and provide vendor oversight (ordering, scheduling, installation, closeout), change management, and conflict resolution. Route for approvals as necessary.

  • Follow up with the end-user to ensure client satisfaction.

Partner with Occupancy Managers to assist with data collection and floor plan accuracy.

Interface directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.

Lead internal and external project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team) providing project guidance, mentorship, and direction to achieve project goals.

Implement communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources advised. Facilitates project meetings.

Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensures project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.

Track the progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Craft action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.

Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure Client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to determine impacts on scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk with management support.

Implement standard risk management routines with management support, to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures toaccomplishassigned tasks and address routine problems.

Have a broad understanding and knowledge of your field and some knowledge of several job subject areas within the function.

What you’ll need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of proven experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Previous project management experience in a client-facing role.

  • Experience with Move Management, Furniture Management, or Occupancy Planning is helpful; Lab experience or other regulated environment is preferred.

  • Relocations or Facilities management experience is highly desirable.

  • Ability and confidence to engage, direct, and lead vendors.

  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. and the ability to analyzepossible solutionsusing technical experience to applyappropriate judgmentand precedents.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an inquisitive mentality.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, floor plans, and spreadsheets Demonstrable experience with Excel & Word. Other programs such as Microsoft Teams and Manhattan a plus.
