Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be handling crucial tasks such as preparing journal entries, accounting reports, and reconciliations in key financial statement categories. You will also be coordinating accounting matters with other departments and maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in your work.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly journal entries to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making.

• Verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications within the financial statements to maintain the integrity of financial information.

• Coordinate accounting matters with other departments within the division to ensure a smooth flow of information and processes.

• Work closely with National Shared Services to align efforts and maintain consistency in accounting practices.

• Prepare supporting documentation for the Division's SOX binders to ensure compliance with regulations.

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, and SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley to effectively fulfill job responsibilities. Requirements

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrated experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience with Month End Close procedures is required

• Familiarity with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance is essential

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work is a must

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• CPA certification or working towards is a plus but not mandatory.
