Job Description

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations and Maintenance Estimator to join our dynamic team! Position Overview: The Operations and Maintenance Estimator will play a critical role in developing and refining task standard estimates for corrective maintenance and equipment installation. This role involves assessing labor, material, execution time, and tooling requirements to ensure precise and efficient task completion. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and adept at using platforms such as TRIRIGA and ServiceNow for task management. Key Responsibilities: Estimate Development: Create detailed and accurate task standard estimates for labor, materials, execution time, and tooling requirements related to corrective maintenance and equipment installation tasks. Task Completion Review: Review task completion information post-execution to ensure accuracy and adherence to established standards. Standards Validation and Adjustment: Conduct periodic reviews and research of task history and relevant maintenance records to validate and adjust standards as necessary. Task Management: Manage and release tasks to the Operations & Maintenance department through TRIRIGA work requests and ServiceNow platforms. Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations & Maintenance team to ensure seamless task execution and adherence to standards. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, engineering or science related field and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, engineering or science related field.

Preferred Skills

Specific experience in planning/estimating for maintenance / installation projects. Experience with TRIRIGA work requests, ServiceNow or similar platform Previous experience in one of the skilled trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.). Previous experience in a maintenance or equipment installation environment. Strong skillset using Microsoft Office programs

Pay Range $68,800.00 - $105,300.00 annually Salary information provided is a general guide line only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls tomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A. Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations. For nearly 70 years, the Naval Nuclear Laboratory has developed advanced nuclear propulsion technology, provided technical support, and trained world-class nuclear operators to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our nation's submarine and aircraft carrier Fleets.
