The Opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time commercial Kitchen Technicians to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Kitchen Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and repairs to all refrigeration, kitchen, and food service equipment. You will also perform regular and routine inspections, and troubleshoot, diagnose and repair refrigeration and food service equipment and system malfunctions in accordance with established maintenance procedures and policies.

This position is for a midnight to 8:00 AM shift.

Pay

Minimum pay rate: $21.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct any operational abnormalities involving temperature, flow, humidity, pressure, emissions, odors, noises, and ventilation to ensure maximum operational efficiency.

• Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping of designated or assigned mechanical spaces and equipment areas.

• Perform filter scheduled and unscheduled air or water changes as needed.

• Adjustment/calibration of all refrigeration and food service equipment as directed.

• Interpret and use schematics, blueprints, specifications, O&M literature, or other equipment data or information as required to facilitate assigned work activities.

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair refrigeration and food service equipment.

• Provide complete and appropriate documentation of all maintenance and repairs performed in a timely, legible, concise, and effective manner following established procedures and using the acceptable format.

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose and repair reported service issues, and all other problems encountered.

• Report all service activities accurately on service orders at the completion of every call.

• Perform preventative maintenance on the units, including ice machines, ovens, fryers, freezers, etc.

• Clean all ice machines throughout the facility.Repair all kitchen equipment.

• Opperate a motor vehicle when needed.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school or at least 5 years of related experience in the field.

• An EPA universal license is required.

• Must Have a Valid Drivers License.

• Must be able to work on weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, reach, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.

• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 100 lbs.
