Description

Park Inc is looking for a high energy customer focused Assistant General Manager to assist with the management of our valet operation at a customer location in West Memphis, AR. Primary focus will be to assist in the supervision and development of team members to achieve the highest level of guest/client satisfaction.

Please note: This position requires open availability with the ability to cover 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with general manager to maintain a strong working relationship with the designated site point of contact

  • Train employees in the various operations of the job site, focusing on safety and customer satisfaction

  • Enforce company policies and procedures

  • Manage staff and employee performance including employee relations, retention, training, coaching and counseling, safety, etc.

  • Assist with hiring and terminations

  • Engage human resources for recruiting and hiring requirements

  • Ensure company equipment is properly maintained

  • Assist in property damage claims management

  • Conduct routine audits and "mystery shop" assessments throughout designated assigned areas

  • Create and distribute schedules for staff as required

  • Ensure schedule is properly communicated

  • Participate in the review of daily/weekly/monthly reports including timekeeping reports

  • Ensure schedule gaps are filled and shifts are full

  • Review processes for efficiency and opportunities for improvement

  • Handle onsite communications with customers, client and management

  • Ensure compliance of established policies and procedures for both the client and the company

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years in a fast paced work environment, parking management preferred

  • Experience managing a large workforce with a variety of roles and responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem solving skills

  • Excellent customer service skills with client focus, and an ability to work with all staff levels

  • Excellent interpersonal and excellent written and verbal English communication skills

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Must be detailed oriented and able to make sound decisions within assigned deadlines

  • Ability to work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather conditions

  • Must possess a valid drivers license at all times

  • Must have at least 3 years driving history with a good driving record

  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission (stick shift)

  • This is a 7 day operation and some days we provide service 24 hours

  • Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as jog/run on a consistent basis
