Adecco Healthcare and Life Science is hiring a Medical Assistant in West Islip, NY . This role will be onsite. Please see below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type: Four-month contract with opportunity for extension or full-time offer

Hours: 830AM – 8PM Monday & Tuesday, 830AM – 5PM Wednesday, 830AM – 6PM Thursday, 9AM – 5PM Friday, 9AM – 2PM Saturday. (5 day work weeks)

Pay: $20 – $24 Per hour based on experience

Specific Duties:

· Measures, collects, and records patient vital signs.

· Performs basic lab testing and other approved tests.

· Performs routine phlebotomy procedures.

· Verify patient demographics accurately with two patient identifiers.

· Assists in examination and treatment of patients under clinician direction.

· Function as an effective team member and work cooperatively alongside physicians, nurses and other ancillary staff.

Education/Requirements:

· High School Diploma / GED

· Experience with vital signs and basic lab tests (urinalysis, pregnancy tests, etc.).

· Phlebotomy experience

· Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
