The Director, International Marketing is responsible for the strategic guidance and successful execution of marketing programs to support our international markets, including Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, with a key focus on the China market. Reporting to the SVP, Global Marketing, this is a key role in the Brand Marketing team, ensuring global consistency across all campaign touch points.

The candidate should have experience working with international markets, having led global programs, and working with local teams to successfully execute programs at the highest quality level. Ability to work quickly under tight deadlines, have excellent communication skills, and high attention to detail is key to the role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Partners with Global Marketing team to communicate and execute strategies with regional markets, supporting all brand and product launches

Serves as lead Brand Marketing point of contact for all regional marketing teams, proactively sharing strategies, project plans, toolkits, assets, etc.

Displays a strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior and market dynamics with an ability to turn insights into actionable Marketing plans

Leads collaboration with regional marketing teams to guide local plan development including, brand activations, creative briefs, talent/influencer selection, asset requirements, etc.

Manages overall project plan, working closely with Global Marketing team to ensure regional deadlines are being met and work is successfully executed and aligned with the global strategy

Work closely with Global Marketing and Creative departments on international Visual and Copy Request submissions, gaining appropriate approvals and trafficking assets to regional teams

Liaise with other departments to facilitate international marketing related projects

Leads weekly status calls with regional marketing teams, managing all meeting preparation and agendas, sharing action notes and keeping all plans on track

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 8 years of international marketing experience

Experience working in prestige beauty, luxury or fashion industries

Experience of working with a growing and global brand, with the ability to proactively problem solve and identify opportunities

Exceptional professionalism, communication and presentation skills

Ambitious, target driven individual who is self-motivated and proactive

Deep understanding of different cultures and markets

Process driven with strong analytical skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks within a changing and fast-paced environment

Strong time management and problem-solving skills

Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time.

The expected base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $145,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
