Kelly Services Administrative Assistant in West Hartford, Connecticut

Administrative Assistant - School Setting

Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our students!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential support to our school staff and students, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a variety of administrative tasks, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.

  • Maintain student records with utmost confidentiality.

  • Create a weekly newsletter using a provided template.

  • Design and create flyers for school events.

  • Assist with office tasks as needed, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an office setting.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.).

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality regarding student information.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $20/hour.

  • Monday - Friday work schedule, 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM.
