Material Handler

$17-18/hour

As a Warehouse Worker, you will maintain the cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the work environment. Your daily tasks will include loading and unloading delivery vehicles, accepting delivery of inventory, counting and confirming inventory, and inspecting inventory for damage and faults. This role demands physical strength, as lifting weights between 50 and 100 pounds will be a regular duty.

Description:

• Responsible for picking orders

• Wil be using a scanner to to match up barcodes

• Prepping items for shipment

• Helping load trucks as needed

• Heavy lifting required

• Sit-down forklift experience is a plus

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

• Comfortable lifting 50lbs+ Ability to work on a computer and use scanner

• Warehouse experience preferred

Work Environment

• 1st shift runs from 6am-2:30pm, five days a week. Current schedule involves working 32-40hrs a week, with preparation for busy season where there will be 50hr work weeks and requirement to work 2 Saturdays a month.

• Operate in a manufacturing environment across three facilities, which are not temperature controlled.

• Team size averages around 100 employees per facility. Dress code is work appropriate shirts, jeans or shorts, and steel-toed shoes are mandatory.
