Wells Fargo Senior Lead Data Product Management Consultant-Data Product Manager CEMS in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Product Manager to join the Home Lending Data & Insights Product Team supporting CEMS Data Product (Customer Experience, Marketing & Sales). This team is part of the Home Lending Transformation group which is responsible for managing and delivering on Home Lending's key Strategic Initiatives.

Under the guidance of the Data & Insights Product Strategy Leader, you will play a critical role in managing Product Owners in leading agile Scrum teams toward the realization of new data solutions. This role will lead talented and dynamic data product delivery teams in close partnership with partners in Technology, Product, and Reporting.

Your contributions will be key to our overarching goal of supporting Home Lending business strategy to simplify the data landscape by enabling simplification data strategies across Home Lending products, drive clear ownership and accountability for all data products, lower cost and lower time to market.

The successful candidate will lead high-performing teams, have experience creating comprehensive multi-year business cases to progress transformation investments, and demonstrate an enduring passion for continuous improvement through Agile principles.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead Data & Insights transformation towards a target state Product Operating Model

  • Through partnership with Product, Reporting and Technology, lead the buildout of CEMS ODS ( Operations Data Store)

  • Through partnership with Product and Technology, responsible for leadership of Data & Insights transformation journey for Home Lending Data.

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for product enhancements and business requirements.

  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of product management team to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables that drive the enablement of data availability for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting

  • Collaborate and consult with product managers, analysts, and multiple level managers

  • Assists Product Strategy Lead with facilitating L3 Epic Backlog prep (R)

  • Accountable for presenting completed Epics (A/R)

  • Creates and monitors metrics and OKRs by aligning product vision to OKRs, and OKRs to Features (R)

  • Evaluates performance against Epic target metrics (R)

  • Investigates and creates new Epics (R)

  • Ensures Technology and Architecture solutions aligns with the Data Product Strategy (R/C)

  • Creates and prioritizes Features by: (A/R)

  • Supporting the Product Area Business Lead on the creation, validation and monitoring of Success Measures (A)

  • Continuously Refining Features to L1 Handoff (Ready for Stories) (A/R)

  • Completes Feature Peer Reviews through Indigo, as applicable (A/R)

  • Update L2 Vision and Forecasted Roadmap (A/R)

  • Identify external dependencies (A/R)

  • Leading Product Area Feature Reviews (A/R)

  • Ensuring Home Lending Change Management procedures adherence (R)

  • Schedules and facilitates PI Planning ceremony (R)

  • Present business context (A/R)

  • Present product vison (A/R)

  • Summarize L1 objectives into PI Objectives (read-outs) (R)

  • Lead prep for next PI's L2 Backlog(A/R)

  • Approve and Close completed Features, based on Acceptance Criteria (A/R)

  • Leads Monthly Product Reviews with leadership (A/R)

  • Provide business authority approval to ServiceNow Change Requests as a delegate for ABO (R)

  • Attends Change Control Board meetings and provides approval on behalf of the product (R)

  • Establish process for intake management (A)

  • Evaluate performance against target metrics (R

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 6+ years of Product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 6+ years' experience in leading data product management or data management

  • Ability to communicate strategies and trade-offs to multiple levels of stakeholders, across vital functional groups, and within development teams.

  • Experience defining product KPIs and success metrics.

  • Expertise establishing and developing strong working relationships with all levels of associates and external parties, while maintaining appropriate levels of objectivity to their work

  • Experience delivering products against plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, distributed-responsibility and often ambiguous environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening and the ability to present sophisticated ideas in concise written and verbal descriptions easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
