Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Financial Operations Analyst to join our team based in West Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves working closely with various teams to manage end-to-end trade processing and data management for a range of derivative products. This position also includes reviewing and reconciling trade bookings and legal trade documentation, overseeing third-party providers, and promoting a culture of prudent risk management within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Trading, Legal, Treasury, and Investment Accounting to support end-to-end trade processing and data management for a variety of products.

• Coordinate with foreign and domestic investment banks to manage settlements associated with derivative trade events, margin requirements, cash management, and collateral.

• Perform data management functions to ensure appropriate flow of data into internal trade execution, booking platforms and collateral records, as well as downstream to accounting, reporting, and other stakeholder platforms.

• Review and reconcile trade bookings and legal trade documentation to ensure trades flow correctly for confirmation or to downstream systems.

• Oversee third-party providers, analyze complex issues, and coordinate with them to resolve any arising issues.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Competence in ERP Solutions

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Proficiency in using About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Budget Processes

• Ability to manage Expense Reporting

• Background in Finance

• Advanced skills in Excel VBA

• Experience with MySQL

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
