Purpose:
Athene is seeking a Desktop Support specialist to join the team! You will provide hardware, software, and mobile support for business and IT users across multiple locations within the organization. Provides resolution & ticket updates based on published SLAs. Receives positive customer feedback regarding problem resolution effectiveness. Proactively documents solutions to build on the team knowledge base.
Accountabilities:
Identifies, escalates and makes recommendations for improvement.
Communicates to stakeholders regarding status, quality, risks, and operations.
Completes and documents break/fix incidents and move/add/change requests.
Installs, maintains, and updates PC hardware, software and mobile devices.
Tests, configures and troubleshoots within one or more of the above areas.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education & work experience. High school diploma required
IT certifications are a plus.
On-call rotation for VIP support; 24/7 required.
1+ years of applicable IT experience is a plus.
Experience in one or more of the following: troubleshooting PC hardware/software issues for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices; understanding of the Windows 10 operating system.
