Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in West Des Moines. The selected individual will be a crucial part of our team, focusing on client services and bookkeeping, while lending support to the staff accountant during busy periods.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process client credit applications with precision.

• Ensure client credit records are up-to-date and accurate.

• Respond to client inquiries promptly and effectively.

• Monitor client accounts and take necessary actions when required.

• Perform general bookkeeping tasks and create financial statements.

• Handle payroll taxes and sales tax responsibilities.

• Maintain and update fixed asset schedules regularly.

• Collaborate with the team effectively and work in fast-paced environment.

• Prioritize tasks independently to manage deadlines.

• Maintain high standard of client service and delivery.

• Communicate regularly with a diverse group of stakeholders, including employees, clients, and partners.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a must

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed

• Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations is necessary

• Strong Bookkeeping skills are expected

• Should be adept at Data Entry tasks

• Mastery of Microsoft Excel is essential

• Experience with Month End Close processes is required

• Knowledge of Payroll procedures is mandatory

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software is essential
