Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Programmer Analyst in WEST CHICAGO, Illinois, United States. As a Programmer Analyst, you will be instrumental in providing structured data and reporting, enhancing our custom applications, ensuring application stability, delivering high-quality applications, and developing a state-of-the-art reporting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI applications to aid in business trend determination and direction setting

• Conduct technical assessments for possible enhancements and fixes to custom applications, providing detailed technical specifications and identifying business process and system resource impacts

• Guarantee application stability by quickly resolving issues, identifying root causes, and implementing proactive monitoring and prevention measures

• Coordinate and participate in testing to ensure delivery of high-quality, bug-free applications in line with quality control standards

• Facilitate end user training and adoption to ensure effective use of applications

• Develop a modern reporting environment utilizing technologies such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, DAX, SQL, and others to provide a superior reporting experience for customers, suppliers, and emp

Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for project management and tracking

• Experience in Backend Development and able to handle server-side application logic

• Knowledge of DB2 Database for managing and organizing data efficiently

• Familiarity with GitHub for version control and code sharing

• Skilled in Hibernate ORM for mapping an object-oriented domain model to a relational database

• Experience in AB Testing to compare two versions of a webpage or application

• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies to manage product development

• Proficiency in ASP.NET for building enterprise-grade web applications

• Strong knowledge of CSS for designing and building responsive web pages

• Excellent Documentation skills to create detailed and clear technical documents

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric for building user interfaces

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for analyzing data and sharing insights

• Familiarity with Databricks for big data analytics and collaboration

• Strong Python skills for various types of programming and software development
