Job Duties
Responsible for analyzing enterprise level computer system issues and large volumes of systems data in different databases with the use of various programming languages, concepts, and methodologies, including Python, R, and visualization tools such as Tableau. Drive business optimization using various machine learning algorithms in Supply Chain/ Operations realm to improve various forecasting processes, inventory placement, product flow within the Fulfillment Centers. Develop and maintain QVC and HSN Fulfillment Center plans and strategies to optimize cost, service, synergies, and inventory objectives and align key performance indicators to ensure successful execution of strategies to improve customer satisfaction for QVC and HSN using Modelling and Machine Learning. Controlling migrated processes by integrating QVC and HSN systems in one landscape with Web Servers and BI Dashboard techniques.
Analyzes the most complex business problems that typically involve multiple systems, new technologies, significant business impact and risk, and multiple stakeholders who may have competing and/or conflicting needs. Design and develop business facing analytics, dashboards, and data visualizations in multiple BI platforms such as Tableau, Micro Strategy, OBIEE or comparable tools. Use various machine learning algorithms for network optimization, to improve call center and fulfillment center forecasting and develop Key Performance Indicators
across organization for resource planning, forecasting, and inventory. Performs risk assessment and develops contingency plans with possible alternatives and recommendations when unanticipated situations arise. Creates predictive and prescriptive hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly reports/metrics to drive improvements. Use a wide range of tools for process analysis and requirements development and documentation for order management, including Forecasting and Planning, Warehouse Management System, Merchandising, E-Commerce
Application. Design and develop business facing analytics, dashboards, and data visualizations in BI platforms. Design and develop the tools to analyze historical data and market trends with help of various data structures. Using Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and V-model, will develop long-range capacity strategy models and manage the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and subsequent cycles. Automate the generation of various business and mission critical reports used by different business leaders and teams for financial transactions, inventory
management, fulfillment center capacity planning and forecasting. Perform risk assessment, manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and anticipate trade-offs. Balance business needs versus technical constraints. Analyze complex projects that involve multiple systems, new technologies, significant business impact and risk, and multiple stakeholders.
Collaborates with users cross-functionally to identify innovative methods of leveraging technology to improve efficiency, quality and speed to achieve successful outcomes. Integrates the potentially diverse needs of many users and stakeholders and successfully manages varying perspectives. Recommends investments in new tools or the adoption of new processes/methodologies. Leverages business savvy to digest large scale organizational change and proactively proposes ways to assess and mitigate risks. Takes broad strategic direction from business partners and enables action by proposing suites of feasible solutions.
May work remotely consistent with company policy--must work from 1200 Wilson Drive, West Chester, PA office location approximately 3 to 5 times per month.
Job Requirements
Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Operations Research, Business Administration or a related field. Must have three years of experience -- experience can be gained pre or post completion of Master's degree - in Forecasting and planning, Agile, SQL, Global Supply Chain, operations of the full product life cycle, Python, developing business reports using SQL, Tableau, and MicroStrategy. Must also have three years of experience in Waterfall, Spring Framework, Javascript, Oracle, business models and large scale Enterprise Applications for large retailers.
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Operations Research, Business Administration or a related field. Must have 5 years of experience in the following: Forecasting and planning, Agile, SQL, Global Supply Chain, operations of the full product life cycle, Python, and developing business reports using SQL, Tableau, and MicroStrategy. Must have 3 years of experience in the following: Waterfall, Spring Framework, Javascript, Oracle, business models and large scale Enterprise Applications for large retailers.
