TEKsystems Network Operations Support Technician in West Bend, Wisconsin
Are you a skilled Network Operations Technician looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our dynamic NOC team on the 2nd shift, working from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Tuesday to Saturday. After 4-6 weeks of onsite training in West Bend, WI, you'll transition to remote work.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, monitoring platforms, ensuring system stability, and operating console systems. You'll also conduct technical procedures and handle first-level support calls. We're looking for someone with experience in help desk support, ticketing systems (ServiceNow), O365, Control M, batch processing, virtual machines, and NOC operations. Your ability to identify and resolve or escalate issues will be crucial.
You'll work with Windows 10, job scheduling, mainframe support, Active Directory, Azure, and SolarWinds. Our escalation levels range from immediate on-call escalation for Severity 1 issues to ticket creation without further escalation for Severity 4 issues.

Job Title: Network Operations Support Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Network Operations Technician to join our NOC team on the 2nd shift. In this role, you will collaborate with other technicians and NOC Engineers, handling escalation calls from the service desk and ensuring stable operating environments.
Top Skills:
Previous help desk support with ticketing system experience (ServiceNow).
Experience with O365, Control M, batch processing, and virtual machines.
Previous NOC experience with the ability to identify and resolve or escalate specific issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor all supported platforms according to established routines.
Ensure maximum utilization of system facilities and stable operating environments.
Operate and monitor console systems and peripheral equipment such as printers and disk devices.
Conduct routine technical procedures, including adding and running ad hoc jobs in the Enterprise Job Scheduler, user administration, participating in disaster recovery exercises, and conducting code promotions.
Take first-level support calls to assist the Service Desk.
Maintain documentation.
Escalation Levels:
Severity 1: Immediate escalation to on-call.
Severity 2: Ops action required based on the procedure referenced in the alert. If unresolved, escalate to Severity 1.
Severity 3: Ops action required based on the procedure referenced in the alert. No call placed regardless of the outcome.
Severity 4: Ticket creation, no further escalation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00
