M inimum of 3 weekend days (mix of Saturday and Sunday), 1 major Winter, 1 major Summer

The role you’ll contribute:

The Physical Therapist provides self-directed, effective therapy to patients in accordance with Florida Physical Therapy Association standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 486.021 (S): “Physical Therapist means a person who is licensed and who practices physical therapy in accordance with this chapter.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· The Physical Therapist will practice within the Scope of Standards of Therapy Services practice.

· Collection of comprehensive data pertinent to the patients’ health or situation.

· Performs consults as indicated from database collection

· Analyzes the assessment data to determine course of treatment.

· Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation .

· The Patient’s Plan of Care is developed to attain expected outcomes.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

· Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy School upon hire

· Minimum of BS Degree in Physical Therapy upon hire

· Current FL state PT license upon hire

· Current American Heart Association BLS certification or RQI required upon hire

· One hour of Hip & Knee replacement surgery education required within 6 months, then annually. (Inpatient only)
