7TH GRADE BASKETBALL COACH - ONE (1) GIRLS COACH/ONE (1) BOYS COACH
STIPEND: $2200.00
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Under the supervision of the Athletic Director, the coach is responsible for scheduling and conducting practices, coaching students during practices and games while upholding positive sportsmanlike conduct.
- Maintaining paperwork and communication between students and families which would include permission slips, weekly game reminders, and paperwork necessary for parent meeting. Issuance of uniforms and maintaining equipment.
- Locking up the gym after practices and waiting until the last student is picked up.
- Riding the bus with the team to and from the away games.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicant must be over 18 years of age with previous experience working with students.
- Applicant must complete TB Risk Assessment.
- Applicant must complete CTC's Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate which includes fingerprint clearance from California Department of Justice. (Applicant must pay the processing fee.)
EXPERIENCE: Some work experience involving contact with children in an educational setting. Familiarity withthe sport and it's rules and regulations.
