UBS Business Solutions US LLC is hiring an Authorized Officer, Data Engineer (ref. Code 001154 in Weehawken, NJ.Duties: Develop cutting edge digital solutions to help internal and external clients make better decisions with data. Responsible for helping to construct, test, and maintain architectures such as distributed data pipelines, event streams, and databases using a varied set of technologies to deliver on business requirements. Focus on blending solutions covering optimization and analytics to drive business results and digital transformation. Use Apache Airflow to programmatically author, schedule, and monitor data pipelines in python. Use Cloudera Hadoop for data storage and Apache Spark as an analytics engine to perform extract, transform and load (ETL) processing based on Dynamic Airflow pipelines. Responsible for the complete software development lifecycle using Agile Scrum practices to iterate through gathering requirements, estimating workloads, coding, reviewing, testing, and deploying software. .REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Financial Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of study.
