As part of a hardworking team of diverse finance professionals, you will be responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, and performance management activities for Blue Origin's New Glenn Business Unit. Named after pioneering astronaut John Glenn, New Glenn is a single-configuration heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of carrying people and payloads routinely to Earth orbit and beyond. Featuring a reusable first stage built for 25 missions, New Glenn will build a road to space. Under the direct supervision of the New Glenn Senior Finance Manager, you will provide financial expertise and business partnership to program leaders across the product lifecycle of the New Glenn Program. As a self-starter and effective communicator, you will represent the New Glenn finance organization within various programs and cross-functional communities, working directly with leaders in production control, engineering, coordinated supply chain, quality, and manufacturing. Job Responsibilities: Develop operating and financial metrics to drive financial performance Support annual and multi-year financial planning activities Analyze and report on financial results Establish cost accounting frameworks and processes Develop and maintain the New Glenn Product Cost Structure Manage, improve, and build tools and processes for the Finance team Support program-level financial risk and opportunity management process Provide project, portfolio, and process management support Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in ERP tools, financial and operational databases, and accounting software Sophisticated financial modeling skills Strong collaboration, influencing, and communication skills Ability to run multiple large-scale projects and prioritize effectively Strong analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills High levels of integrity, ethics, and judgment Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or STEM fields Min 2 years of directly related experience U.S. citizenship, U.S. permanent residency, refugee status, or asylum status Desired Qualifications: Master's degree in relevant field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent SQL, python, & workflow automation (Alteryx, Tableau Prep) programming skills Dev Ops or Agile product development experience Advanced analytical skills including ML Skills in Tableau or Microsoft BI Experience in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or technology organization Compensation Range for: WA applicants is $79,830.00-$111,762.00 Other site ranges may differ Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.
