MRI Technologist I
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist I position works independently to complete a variety of routine MR procedures to include common and specialty MR exams of moderate complexity. This position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic and special MR procedures. This Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist I position delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to MR exam standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service. This position is a member of the direct patient care team.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Completion of MRI training program to include UTMB MR Training Program.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS
American Heart Association (BLS)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
WORK SCHEDULE
Up to 19.99 hours per week with no benefits. Must be flexible to work various shifts for PTO coverage.
MRI Technologist II
JOB DESCRIPTION
The MRI Technologist II position is an experienced technologist who completes a variety of routine to complex MR procedures to include common and specialty MR exams of high difficulty. This position is a member of the direct patient care team and is fully competent in all aspects of ultrasound exams. The MRI Technologist II position serves as a mentor and trainer to the MR Technologist I and students. This position works independently by exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures. The MR Technologist II position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic andspecialty MR procedures. This position delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to ultrasound exam standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Completion of an MRI Training program to include the UTMB MR Training program.
Proficient in advance interventional cases & MR diagnostic cases of the head, cardiac, prostate and breast
