Job Purpose and Impact

The Conversation Agronomist Supervisor will lead a team to develop, implement and optimize the assigned formal sustainability programs and processes related to serve customers across assigned regions, areas or facilities. In this role, you will be accountable for compliance under voluntary and regional or national schemes used to qualify our products for our customers. You will be a member of the sustainability team working closely with our commercial and supply teams to serve both suppliers and customers to ensure commercial optimization of our products. You will play a key role in educating our commercial teams and customers on the benefits of sustainable ag and soil health practices.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan and prioritize to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet productivity and quality goals and monitor team performance against customer expectations.

  • Provide leadership and support regarding the assigned formal sustainability program activities and sustainability compliance related questions, interpreting legislation and recognizing the risks and business opportunities.

  • Identify trends, keeping up to date on the latest changes to the market rules in order to identify potential impact on business.

  • Ensure sustainability program compliance with external and internal audits standards, providing expertise and advice to suppliers and customers on certification and compliance.

  • Coach and mentor leaders and professionals on interactions with the formal sustainability program authorities, supporting external audits and providing input to external responses when corrective action is required.

  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

  • End to end leadership of field day events supporting both farmer and demand customers.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Experience working out business needs and coordinating supply and demand sustainability requirements

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

  • Ability to travel up to 40% nationally during customer enrollment season

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of supervisory experience

  • Experience of auditing or working to process standards

  • CCA

Short Description

This is remote position open to candidates the US.

The expected salary for this position is $110,000-$130,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.

Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law
