Adecco is assisting a local manufacturer in recruiting for a current Pemserter Operator opening in Waynesboro, VA. This is for a Temp to Hire opportunity. As a Pemserter Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Pemserter machines to insert self-clinching fasteners into sheet metal and other materials. Your attention to detail and precision will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of orders and maintain the efficiency of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities for this Pemserter Operator job includes, but are not limited to:

· Set-up and operate the PEMserter Machines (hardware insertion presses) based on the type of PEM style fasteners required for the product being run.

· Read Blueprints – Understand isometric and orthographic projections being able to clearly identify the type and number of PEM style fasteners required by product being run.

· Read and use a calipers and other inspection equipment.

· Validate parts meet customer specifications, 1st piece and in-process verification.

· Lift 50 lbs. and stand continuously for scheduled work shift.

· Meet productivity expectations for products run, demonstrating excellent hand/eye coordination.

· Operate in a safe manner.

· Demonstrate reliability through outstanding punctuality and attendance.

· Good organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

· Work independently or in a team in a self-directed work environment

Qualifications:

· Pemserter Operation experience preferred.

· Mechanical Knowledge and aptitude required.

· Ability to read blueprints preferred.

· Ability to stand and work for the full shift.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Perfect attendance is a MUST!

· Candidates must have own and/or reliable transportation

· Full time Schedule : Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm

Pay for this position is $14-17/hr.

Pay Details: $14.00 to $17.00 per hour
