Johnson Controls Welder Assembler 470 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 21051090 Johnson Controls is currently hiring for 2 Welder Assemblers for our 2nd Shift Team!! We offer competitive pay, benefits, and lots of room to grow!

What Will I do?

Perform difficult hand welding operations on a wide range of metals, ferrous and non-ferrous, for package units and other complex assemblies

Able to weld dissimilar metals, layout, cut and fit parts to meet drawing tolerances.

Weld to high strength and pressure requirements according to ASME code and produce clean welding finishes.

Operate all types of hand or semi-automatic electric machines and oxyacetylene for welding.

Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment according to 5S standards.

Follow all safety policies, procedures and JHRA

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Welding experience (prior certification preferred)

Experience operation forklifts, cranes, or electric pallet jacks preferred.

Starting rate $30.16/hr

2nd Shift 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime as needed! However, Training may take place on 1st shift for up to 4 weeks.

$1.50/Hr shift differential
