Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a General Line Product Manager focused on Trex Decking and Railing sales and marketing! Please review the responsibilities and needed qualifications below and apply today! Responsibilities Market Decking, Railing and Accessories for warehouse and customer sales. Develop and implement sales strategies, new products, promotions, and conducts sales presentations. Monitor, maintain and grow Decking, Railing and Accessory sales and margins to maximize branch profitability. Solicit direct and warehouse sales. Work closely with location manager or location sales manager in promotion of assigned and new products. Assist with changing prices as necessary and maintaining catalogue price pages. Develop annual marketing plan incorporating vendor, division and product promotions. Maintain technical product knowledge. Determine product market potential. Identify and evaluate competitive products, new markets, new product opportunities, and competitors. Work closely with division merchandising in selection of suppliers. Maintain customer relationships, quote prices, sell additional products. Make presentations at dealers meetings, sales meetings, builder shows, etc. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function. Working conditions are an office environment with minimal physical exertion. Preferred Qualifications: Effective communication skills. Requires proficiency in utilizing computer software applications necessary for performing job responsibilities. Typically more than seven (7) years in building products industry or general line sales.
